Recommended for those with no previous boxing or kickboxing experience, South Austin Gym’s freestyle kickboxing classes quickly get you in shape while teaching self-defense. Class activities include footwork drills and bag work along with jumping rope – giving you better balance, coordination, stamina, flexibility and strength.
Handwraps and boxing gloves ensure your safety and comfort.

South Austin Gym also offers classes in Muay Thai or Thai boxing – a martial art which uses your elbows and knees as well as your hands and feet.
