FREESTYLE KICKBOXING

Recommended for those with no previous boxing or kickboxing experience, our freestyle kickboxing classes are designed to help you get into shape, learn self-defense and have fun. Activities such as jumping rope, footwork drills, pad work and bag work will give you better balance, coordination, stamina, flexibility and strength. The use of handwraps and boxing gloves ensure your safety and comfort when executing combinations.

MUAY THAI

The most cold-blooded form of kickboxing – Muay Thai, or Thai boxing, - originated in Thailand. Also known as “The Art of Eight Limbs” Muay Thai is unique in that it allows the use of not only hands and feet, but also elbows and knees; all to provide eight potential points of contact. At World Kickboxing Center, we have classes in Muay Thai that are safe, fun and challenging. These classes incorporate the pad work and bag work found in freestyle kickboxing, but also include controlled contact drills, clinch work and opportunities for sparring. There is also an even greater emphasis on body conditioning in these classes that will whip you into the best shape of your life.
